How soon can I walk on my carpet?
Keep pets, children and regular traffic off the carpet for a couple of hours. You may use the
carpet lightly immediately after cleaning by wearing the "booties" we provide, or socks or house
slippers. Wait 24 hours before removing Styrofoam blocks and plastic tabs that are put in place
to protect the furniture and carpet. Some carpets may still feel slightly damp for up to 18 hours
depending on the carpet fiber type and soiling condition. This is normal and will not cause any
problems.
NOTE: Carpet protector is strongly recommended as it can prevent many permanent stains, assist in
resisting traffic area damage and make future cleaning more effective. Regular foot traffic removes
much of the factory protection from your carpet, leaving your carpet unprotected which could allow
permanent stains, premature wear and cause a lower appearance level. Ask about carpet protector.
Do you move the furniture?
Our regular pricing includes moving up to six pieces of furniture like most sofas, chairs, end
tables, and other light items of furniture. Beds, dressers and heavier pieces are left in place.
Dressers and heavier pieces can be moved upon request (additional charges apply), however, the
homeowner must remove all electronic items and breakables from any item of furniture that you would
like us to move.
Can you get out ….?
With the experience and expertise our company has, we are known for being able to get out difficult
spots. If a spot is removable, we have what it takes to get it out. Our truck is stocked with many
specialty spotting agents. However, please understand that there are some things that can cause a
permanent stain. They include, but are not limited to things with dyes, like red, yellow, blue or
green.
Do you clean ….?
Berber - Absolutely. Berber is a weave, not a particular type of fabric. Berber is simply a type of
loop construction that may come in olefin, nylon, wool, or a blend. Berber requires a more thorough
cleaning than other carpets because the "flushing" action needs to take place to get under,
around, and through the loops. Other companies that are not as thorough as we are have a lot of
problems with Berber because they leave soil behind that "wicks" back to the service.
Wool - Yes, we have special products that we use for wool.. We use lower pressure, lower temperature &
take special drying precautions for cleaning wool.
What do I do after my carpeting has been cleaned?
Immediately after cleaning: Floors can be slippery. Be careful when walking from the carpet to a hard
surface until the carpeting is thoroughly dry. Remove any blocks or tabs after 24 hours. Vacuum carpet anytime
after a 24 hour period.
Maintaining your
carpet: Vacuum your carpet often,
once or twice a week is recommended. Dirt is extremely abrasive and can easily
damage carpet fibers as you walk back and forth on it. Remove any spills or
spots immediately. Red wine, red beverages, urine, blood etc. can cause a
permanent stain if not treated immediately. Never scrub your carpet with a
brush, use a white terry cloth rag to blot the stain up and rinse thoroughly. Do
not use store bought cleaning chemicals as they can damage your carpet. Call our
office for specific advice on spill removal

IS THE LOWEST PRICED COMPANY THE ONE YOU SHOULD HIRE?
The offered price may not be for the services that you want performed. Before you select a carpet cleaner, decide what you want to accomplish. If you want the cleaner to remove only some of the dirt, you can choose from hundreds of cleaners that use small shampoo machines, poorly maintained truck-mounted units or other cleaning methods. On the other hand, if you want your carpet thoroughly cleaned, if you want to remove the harmful dirt, bacteria, pollens, and chemicals, then you need to hire a company that uses a well maintained equipment, quality cleaning products and stays in touch with the industry changes through continuing education. This is the only way to assure that you are receiving the maximum removal of your soils, bacteria and ensure your carpet remains healthy for your family.
